We created this beautiful look in the powder room. First, we did a soft metallic plaster finish on the walls and ceiling, setting the stage. We gold-leafed the ceiling medallion that serves as a nice focal point in room. Then we designed and handpainted the custom leaf stencil that crosses the ceiling and “falls” down the walls. Collectively, it results in beautiful undulations of light and color! The look certainly plays perfectly with the medallion, lighting, and mirror!

It’s a great organization, part of HBI, that trains students from all walks of life in the wider construction industry. We created a mural by interpreting an image from a publication that inspired the homeowner. It’s classic imagery of an English Garden Square is a bit wistful along with the individuals bringing a slightly “ghostly” feel. The finishing touch is the frame, which we goldleafed, giving the mural a gallery painting look. Overall, it’s a beautiful and tranquil addition to the home’s guestroom.

Here, in the hall that leads to several bedrooms, we turned a pretty bland space into something special. We delivered an all-over classic Damask stencil on the walls.
